Tortola,BVI

We are in Road Harbor, Tortola at present waiting for weather to jump across the Anagada Passage. The Anagada is similar to the Mona Passage only a bit longer. We are looking forward to seeing the Dutch and French islands as we move down the chain toward Grenada.

The Bight on Norman Island

Norman Island, BVI is a great place. We went into the Bight and managed to anchor on the far north side of the bay. It was crowded. That night we went to Willy T's, a steel schooner turned bar.

Along the way to Norman Island.

It was a very good sail.

Baths, Trellis Bay, BVI

We spent the afternoon at the Baths and went to Trellis Bay for New Years.

Rugged coast along the way. Then the Baths. Next is a couple of fire balls at Trellis bay that is lit for New Years. The last picture is of the Mumbo Jumbies that walked around the crowd.

Jost Van Dyke, BVI

We stayed in Jost Van Dyke for a day and night before heading for the Baths on Virgin Gorda. We went to Corsairs for pizza and then to Foxy's and finally we walked to the Soggy Dollar for a Pain Killer.

St. John, USVI

St. John island in the USVI is a quaint little place but quite touristy. You can walk the whole town of Cruz Bay easily. One thing we did that we would suggest is take the Vitran bus. For a $1 you can ride to the other end of the island and back again for another $1. It was like a roller coaster ride in Disneyland.

We walked into Larry's Landing for a drink. At Larry's you mix your own drink. You heard right, you mix your own drink. The bar tender gives you a bottle of what-ever you like (well drink, like Cruzan rum, hawk vodka, etc.) and what you want to mix it with and a cup of ice. Then you pour your own. When your done, the bar tender puts everything away and you can try to drink your "way-to-strong" drink. The reason they do this at this bar is because the liquor is actually cheaper than the mixers. The drinks are $3.

Cruz Bay harbor is small and very crowded.
