Hey to everyone. We had hat nite in Grenada a while back and everyone had a lot of fun. The connection is a bit slow today so I will try to upload a few pictures later. Anyway everyone had to wear some sort of head cover and the different head gear was really fun. This was actually Kim's (Spice Kyaking) idea. Soon after that Carolyn and I sailed off toward Martinique. Our first leg took us to Carriacou and a couple of days later we did an overnight sail to Rodney Bay, St Lucia.
Along the way I let out a line with a green squid type bait and caught 3 fish total up to here. They were a Blackfin tuna, a Bonita tuna, and a Mackerel. We were running short of ice so I quite fishing.
The next morning was a beautiful sail to La Marin on the southern coast of Martinique. We stayed here for a little over a week then did a day sail north to Fort De France. Here we are waiting for guests to arrive tomorrow for Carnival. Carolyn is having fun shopping here in French Martinique. The produce is very high quality. I have not found any bad wine here and the beer is good also. We have no plans as such and will either stay here a while through Carnival or head for the southern coast of Martinique or maybe do a 2 day sail to Grenada, weather perm itting.
I will try to upload a bunch of pictures later.
