Bimini cont.

This is the group of cruisers at the marina where we are staying. (The Blue Water Marina) We are all waiting for a weather window and are all going to different places, some going to the states, some to the Abacos, and we are going to the Exumas.

Saw this sign as we were waking into another marina/bar.

Carolyn coming back from a shopping trip.

Checking the prop and condition of the anode etc. It looks like we may get to leave on Sunday. We will probably spend one night on the banks and make Nassau by the end of the next day. If it works out that way, then we will have an update from Nassau.

We can see from the pictures that you have replaced us with new and better friends! While we both knew it was just a matter of time, we had dared to believe we were special. Despite Teri's frantic search for me, I was not lost and turned up in Harlingen, Texas where I called Teri for a ride. Her answer-- Get a Taxi.

Happy you have made it so far. Teri is really jealous. Look forward to seeing you again.

Love you both,

Jim and Teri

Robert, are you sure you are not snorkling in a swimming pool? What a beautiful place! Carolyn, we got your message and I appreciated your positive input!! Steve and I were tied up to a Barge on the West side of New Orleans for 5 days waiting for the 75 mph gust, severe rain, thunderstorms, lightening, the brand new flood gate prior to the Harvey Locks to open, and the tornados to all go by us before we crossed the mighty mississippi. We actually did it yesterday during a Norther...it was our only chance! When we got into the Industrial Canel there was a railroad bridge that we had open and on the other side of it there was a draw bridge that needed opening. The lady who finally answered our radio call said she couldn't open it and would have to call someone to do it...so we waited for 1 1/2 hours in the middle of the canel! This must have been a NEW RULE....RULES!!!!! We entered Lake Pontchartrain with the mighty Norther blowing....I thought we were on the high seas!!!! Steve and I could only think about you as you crossed the lake in similar conditions. Anyway, we are at the New Orleans Municipal Marina where it is FREE to tie up...We are currently at Roberts using their internet and I think where you went grocery shopping Carolyn. There are thunderstorms and a couple of cold fronts expected this week so we will wait for better weather to travel in the Mississippi Sound. With three days of good weather, we can be in Pensocola. We miss you guys and hope to see you again soon.....Take good care and have lots of fun!!!!
